CES 2012: Lenovo shows a new Smart TV, tablets and smartphones

Chinese computer maker Lenovo laptops and today announced new products that the company had prepared for demonstration at CES, opening 2012. Chinese producer shows a new 55-inch TV with smart, new tablets and smartphones, as well as its own cloud service to work with all the new content.

A new 55-inch TV K91 runs on Android 4.0, has an IPS-display capable of displaying HD-video and inside it is a dual-core processor with 1.5 GHz (in a specific model not specified), 1 GB of RAM and a built-in 5 megapixel camera, which is necessary not only for video, but also for the rating of Android 4.0 – videoraspoznavaniya persons. Interface with smart TV Lenovo brand – manufacturer calls it Sandwich UI. With it, users can quickly access video-on-demand, work with Internet applications and switch to regular TV.

In a statement Lenovo said that most of the programs for the smart TV is also compatible with smartphones and tablets based on the Lenovo Android. The only exceptions are specialized television applications. Price new is not reported, the date of sale – too. The company also presents a new Android-tablet Lenovo IdeaTab S2, working on the base of Ice Cream Sandwich fillings and similar technology – 1.5-gigahertz chip with two cores, 1 GB of RAM and 16, 32 or 64 GB of memory to choose from. By its dimensions IdeaTab S2 corresponds approximately to the iPad 2.
