Facebook is testing a paid service to send messages

Social network Facebook has begun testing an experimental feature of paid sending of private messages. Their recipients will be people who are not in the friends list of sender. The experiment was conducted on a limited number of U.S. social network users.

The cost of sending messages is not officially disclosed, but according to the data resource AllThingsD, a message will cost a dollar.

Facebook is confident that the new service will be in demand by users who want to quickly contact with someone for proposals of work, for example. In addition, the board will help fight spam. “Many experts say that the introduction of fees will decrease the volume of junk mail,” – said the administration service.
